Title: Leading to Light
‘Leading to Light’ attempts to resolve the issue of going from dark to light. It has a figure confined by a boundary and the work flows towards the colour and light outside where the figure is much freer to experience the world but still within restrictions. The circle stepping stones represent the journey to outside but could be viewed in either direction, as could the map pieces.l will continue attending classes to develop my practice using the skills I’ve learned on the OFCAD in printmaking and life drawing.
