Title “Aa-Re” Meet The River
I'm after the secret.
There is a story beyond the untold.
There is tension in every human interaction, an infinite energy in every natural phenomenon.
Is there a way to give a hint of them, to capture them before they disappear?
Inspiration comes from encounters, experiences, ordinary places and overlooked persons. I'm challenged by exploring their uniqueness, drama, and beauty. Like travellers collect seashells on a beach, so do I collect flashes of emotions, sounds and colours.
My art practice is based on perception and empathy. Colour is the trigger, and how I perceive colour in the context of other different senses takes my work forward. The process is intuitive and analytical at the same time. I am concerned with how to participate, show a different perspective or transfer the energy and the tension into an artwork.
