Title: What we Show, What we Hide’
My final submission piece is an abstract depiction of ‘our outside’ – outer layers where inner feelings can be hidden deep or at the surface – what we show, what we hide. They are portrayed by the build-up of paint layers, choice of colours and the triptych format to explore different states: The left depicts ‘happiness’; the middle, anger, the right, contentment. The piece also depicts a kind of landscape – ‘the’ outside and the exposed wood is part of this effect.
