Title: Finding an outside’


In the last year, OFCAD has helped me to strengthen my competence in each of the three areas. I have learnt how to use materials in a wide range of media and appreciate those I have an affinity for. I have confirmed my preference for sculpture, but also seen the opportunities offered by painting and drawing. Through its ‘line of enquiry’, the final project made me think hard about what I was trying to communicate and how.

“OFCAD has helped me grow in confidence as an artist. I want to continue to develop my practice, find what excites me, and acquire the skills to successfully communicate that through sculpture and other media. I would like to explore the use of space in sculpture further, learning from Shiota, Moore, and others.”
