Title: Painting My Inside Outside
A silence, a void and a vulnerability. In order to have made something that the viewer can identify with, l tapped into something that was personal to me. With this painting I explore the juxtaposition between the idea of trying to go unnoticed but feeling too large and uncomfortable.The ancient silver birch at my back symbolises protection and new beginnings. I will continue to learn about painting, investigating the figure and portraiture and plant and tree symbolism.
